Hello all!  My name is Bruin and I was at one of those scary kill shelters and terrified if I would make it out.  Thankfully some sweet sole shared my picture with PPR and they came to save my life.  I was very overweight then which was surprising since I had been found as a stray.  My freedom ride was to the rescue vet for a check up.  Sadly I was heartworm positive.  The vet put me on meds and the rescue followed protocol and I am happy to announce that I am heartworm negative now!  I am feeling great now and I am looking forward to my forever home.  The vet believes I am about eight years old.

I feel I would be a wonderful companion dog.  I am not the best with the dogs in my foster home (they pick on me 🙁 )  however when out on a leash walk I am fine and welcoming of the dogs I meet along the way.  I would love to curl up next to you on the couch or comfy chair and chill.  I do have a good bit of energy but also am fine just chilling out next to you.
