Ok, Ok, I know I am not a Pug but there is a reason I am here in Pawsitively Pugs Rescue. So here is my story. Several years ago my humans got a divorce and myself and my Pug brother went to live with my dad. After a few years there we were both left in our crates on our former moms front porch. When she came home from work, there we were! Surprise mom we are home! Unfortunately the timing was bad because mom was moving in a few days to a place that didn’t allow pets. She scrambled trying to figure out what to do with my brother Yoda and I. Mom reached out to Pawsitively Pugs Rescue about taking my Pug brother Yoda. They quickly stepped in and offered help. During the conversation with my mom it was discovered that I too was in need of rescue. Even though I am not a Pug, PPR offered to take me into rescue too! I am so grateful! Who knows what could have happened to me!
I am an 8 year old Poodle. I unfortunately came into rescue not neutered and not having had very good vet care. My mouth is hurting me right now because my teeth are terrible! The vet did an initial evaluation on me and said that I will likely need to have all my teeth removed 🙁 I will be going to the vet for that dental on Friday, February 17th. Once I have recovered from that I will be ready for a forever family.
What type of home would I like? Well glad you asked. I am cool just chilling out and getting love and affection but I also have spirts of energy and try to get the other dogs in my foster home to play. In my foster home I am with dogs from one year old up to sixteen and I do well with any of them. I do try to get the one year old to calm down though so maybe a home that doesn’t have a rambunctious youngster would be best for me.
I am only eight years old so I have lots of life left in me so why not give me a chance to light up your life while you are lighting up mine?
