Meet Ginger! She is 12 years old and the absolute picture of perfection. Ginger was surrendered to rescue by a local breeder and has been loving life in her foster home, just happily chilling her days away. She gets along fine with the other dogs in the home, though she doesn’t really interact with them—she basically just ignores them and does her own thing.

Since coming into rescue, she has visited the vet for vaccines, bloodwork, her spay surgery, and a much-needed dental procedure. She actually only had seven teeth left, and all of them had to be pulled. In spite of that, she has absolutely no problem eating! Her foster family just mixes a tablespoon of wet food with her dry kibble, and she gobbles it right up.
