Hello all!  Did I just melt your heart?  I knew I would!  My name is Lola and I am 15 years old.  I was happy in my home with my mom and then the unthinkable happened, she passed away due to something called covid.  I don’t know what that is.  All I know is that my world was turned upside down!  I went to live with a lady that was a coworker of my moms and she kept me for a couple weeks while working to get me into rescue.  She really liked me and wanted to keep me but she lived in an apartment and she was already at their pet limit so she couldn’t.

A little about myself.  Like I said, I am 15 years old.  When I got to rescue they checked me over and said that I needed a dental.  I had bloodwork and the vet said I was good to go to have my teeth cleaned.  I came home from my dental with just 3 teeth!!  Yup, I had a mouth full of rotten teeth but it has all been taken care of and my lack of teeth has not stopped me from eating dry kibble (though I would love canned ????).  I cannot actually hear you but I can see just a little, maybe a foot, so I get around well.  I am currently in a foster home with other dogs and I am ok with that.  I just tell them what I think when they bump into me!  Yes, I can be feisty!

What am I looking for in a forever home?  My requests aren’t much.  I would love a home where I am an only dog or one that I am one of only two or three dogs.  I am old and I like to chill and relax without others bothering me.  If you would give me a comfortable bed in a quiet place that would be my dream!  See, not a lot, just a quiet house and a comfy bed!
