Tulip

Tulip

Tulip is a new angel to PPR and she is a complete delight!  She was found as a stray and went unclaimed.  She went to the shelter with her friend Shadow that is also with PPR.  The shelter thought they were bonded but they don’t spend any time together in their foster home so we are fine with them being adopted out separately.

The shelter vet thought she was about 5 years old but our rescue vet said more like 8 years old so we are going to go with 8.  Tulip loves to follow her foster mom all around the house and stay close by while she works from home.  So far she hasn’t had any accidents in the house.  When we got her we noticed she seemed to drag one of her back legs a little.  After a visit to the vet he stated she might have a pinched nerve causing it.  It doesn’t bother her a bit and she can definitely move at a quick pace when she is trying to follow her foster mom around the yard!  He did say it would be best for her not to jump off furniture.  She does well with other dogs in her foster home but prefers they don’t act crazy near her.  If they do she barks at them and lets them know what she thinks.

Tulip is current on vaccines and microchipped.
