Carl is a sweet, playful pug who loves to take walks in nature, cuddle, and nurse on his favorite squid toy.  Because he is a rescue, we do not know his exact age, the shelter estimated 7 years old but we estimate that he is about 4 based on his high energy levels.  He is shy at first but once he warms up to you he will never leave your side, and is the perfect companion.  Carl either needs a household with no other pets or a household with perhaps an older dog that won’t get on Carl’s nerves.  He will chase cats so they are a “no go” in a potential home.  Carl is very protective of his “person” and doesn’t like to share attention with any other animals.  Priority will be given to applicants with no other pets or ones with calm/chill seniors.

Carl is current on vaccines, housebroken, and microchipped.  All he needs is his forever home!
