This sweetheart is Meryl and she is a four year old pug mix.  She found herself in a shelter and luckily ended up with PPR.   She loves to play with the other young dogs in her foster home and following her foster mom all around.  She enjoys getting love and attention and we think she will be a great fit for almost any home.

When PPR first pulled Meryl out of the shelter it was immediately clear that her knee was popping out of place when she walks (not that it stops her from rough housing!) so she saw the rescue vet and had surgery to correct her knee.  Unfortunately the surgery was not successful.  Since this leg didn’t bother her all all or effect her quality of life the decision between the vet and rescue is that we will not put her through the surgery again.  She is ready for a loving family.
