Hello:

do you adopt out of State? I live in Virginia and am looking for a pug mix. I have rescued my last 4 pugs, from Maryland Pug rescue and Mutts Matter and am currently looking to adopt again. My last rescue pug died of cancer and PLE in May and I would love to find another companion, especially one that likes to walk, go for car rides, sleep in my bed and snuggle on the sofa while I am reading. I have excellent references and would like to submit an application, if you adopt outside of your state. I only work part time, 20 hours per week, live 4 minutes from work, come home for a lunch time walk and I do own my home. My goal is to adopt 2 dogs, similar in size and age, most likely a pug mix or puggle.

  Hi Elke! I actually remember you and processed your application for MAPR! I was with them for eleven years before starting Pawsitively Pugs Rescue. I do adopt out of state so please feel free to fill out an application.
  The one thing that has come up with Ruby is that when I had her spayed last week it was discovered that she is heartworm positive so she will not be available for a little bit while she goes through that treatment. She is a great girl and would be perfect for what you are looking for!
