Zoey is the other half of the Chloe/Zoey dynamic duo.  Zoey, like her sister, wasn’t born perfect but we believe she is!  She was born with one eye undeveloped but has the other eye and can see out of it.  For this reason, Zoey and Chloe must be adopted together.  Zoey is Chloe’s seeing eye dog not to mention that they play and wrestle and really enjoy each other!  We will not seperate this wonderful pair of ladies.

Zoey (and her littermate sister Chloe) came into rescue when PPR was alerted to a post about two pug sisters living in a truck in TN (in the winter) because the couple that had them lost their home and they were living in the truck also.  We dropped everything and drove through some snow in the NC mountains and into TN so we could help these babies get out of a bad situation and living in a crate in the backseat of a four door truck.  It also took pressure off the humans so they didn’t have to worry about how to buy them food.

They had not had any vet care so we immediately took them in and got them vaccines and had them spayed.

Zoey is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

All she needs is you to give her (and her sister) the life she deserves!
